There are several venues in Wisconsin that offer both a rustic setting and all the amenities you will need to create the wedding you've always dreamed of. The policies of each site vary somewhat so you will need to contact them directly to inquire about booking and reservations. As a general rule, each venue works with an exclusive caterer. These services are very experienced serving wedding parties and can create the perfect menu.

Trendy Acres

The Trendy Acres site features a picture-perfect red barn. This historic site still produces luscious local blueberries which are sold directly to the public from the farm. The barn can be rented for dinners, weddings, or other special events. The rental fee includes just about everything you'll need for a wedding and reception: indoor tables and chairs for up to 120 guests, indoor table linens, outdoor tables and chairs for 26 guests, a 9' projection screen, portable toilets, wash stations, and clean-up services. You are free to select your own decorations and food prepared offsite is allowed. Rental fee also includes full access to the farm yard and trails.

Badger Farms

This quiet farm is located outside Madison, Wisconsin. It features a beautiful white barn originally built in the 1920's. It has been newly renovated for use as an events hall while still maintaining the original rustic charm. The double doors and wooden staircases are perfect for wedding day photo shoots and the vaulted ceiling creates an atmosphere that's truly removed from the every day.
Badger Farms is set apart from urban centers though it isn't lacking in the modern conveniences you expect from a wedding venue. State of the art audio visual systems have been unobtrusively installed to enable video presentations and speeches. Air conditioning keeps people cool in the summer and in-floor radiant heating creates comfortable warmth during the winter.

Badger Farms also features the Shop, an enclosed pavilion adjacent to the barn. The Shop has ceiling fans, chandeliers, in-floor heating, and large 14' doors. The spacious interior has no pillars to obstruct the view. Both the barn and the Shop are ideal for wedding ceremonies and receptions.

Sugarland

Sugarland is one of the state's most popular rustic destinations. In addition to a restored historic country farm house, the site boasts twelve acres of cultivated property with groves of pine and oak trees, a bubbling fountain, and winding stream. It offers full amenities for weddings, including exclusive catering by The Old Feed Mill. Seating for 100 guests and a wedding arbor is included in the initial rental price with additional seating available upon request. Each rental reserves the entire farm house. This is an exceptional site for a private event in a scenic rustic setting.

The Barn at Harvest Moon Pond

This family-owned farm has been in operation since 1865; in 2012 it was opened to the public as awisconsin rustic wedding venue. The post and beam barn was constructed in the traditional English style and today offers couples an exceptional setting for a rustic wedding. The structure features a large stone and hickory fireplace, primitive chandeliers, rustic oak table and chairs, and a bar built in a complementary style. There is a large kitchen, two changing areas, and five bathrooms. The venue is open all year round and has a modern heating and cooling system to keep the space perfectly comfortable.

The Harvest Moon Pond barn is surrounded by photo-ready fields and farmyards. The exterior of the barn is a perfect setting for a rustic photo shoot and the distinct interior is an ideal backdrop for portrait shots. This venue is booked out approximately a year in advance so prompt reservations are advised.

Milford Hills

The Milford Hills Hunt Club offers an exceptional venue for any outdoor wedding ceremony and reception. The land has largely been kept in its natural state with only essential improvements made. The Clubhouse is a rustic yet comfortable structure that's perfect for indoor celebrations; up to 200 guests can be accommodated inside the Clubhouse. Milford Hills is known for its exceptional food and all your catering needs can be met by the in-house staff. One of the most popular rustic destinations in the state, Milford Hills was a Best Of finalist for Wisconsin Bride Magazine in the Outdoor Ceremony Venue category.

The Enchanted Barn

This is one of the oldest rustic farm sites in the state! With buildings dating all the way back to the 1880's, the Enchanted Barn has everything you need for a premium wedding experience. Wedding and reception amenities include photographers, videographers, wedding singers, a string quartet, in-house florist, strolling violinists, and outdoor pavilion tents. The horse drawn carriage is an especially popular amenity; take a romantic ride through the grounds and then pose for a once-in-a-lifetime photo opp. Shuttles to nearby lodging are available for the comfort and convenience of your guests. The Enchanted Barn was given a Best Of award by Wisconsin Bride Magazine in 2012.
